In my last email, I shared Lokho’s story. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, she now has a safety net, allowing her to keep her crops safe and grow more vegetables to feed her family. Now, there are many other people like her who still need help.
Tume is one of them. She lives in the same region as Lokho in northern Kenya. She lost her animals to drought and fears for her children’s future. Her simple dream? Raising chickens so she can put food on the table and earn an income by selling eggs.
“When I came to this place there was plenty of rainfall and plenty of food… The drought came and killed everything. It will never be the same as it was before…” - Tume
You can help more people hit by drought find many new ways to make a living.
Thank you also for your support and prayers for those affected by the devastating earthquake in Myanmar. Your compassion and generosity continue to share hope with communities facing hardship.
I am also deeply grateful for your support throughout this Lenten season. Your kindness and solidarity mean so much.
With warm wishes
