Minnesotans deserve a leader who will speak out against radical and dangerous policies like this! Tina Smith’s silence is deafening...but I can assure that as Senator, I will always stand with and support our brave law enforcement. 

While serving in Congress, I co-authored and passed the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA). I felt criminal justice reform, especially for non-violent youthful offenders, was the right thing to do. The new law sought to reduce racial disparities “without establishing or requiring numerical standards or quotas” that might affect public safety. This is what real progress looks like—Democrats like Ilhan Omar and Tina Smith defunding and abolishing entire police departments is not.”
