Trump and his hand-picked Commerce Secretary, Howard Lutnick, are floating a reckless plan to merge the USPS with the Commerce Department, stripping it of its independence and paving the way for privatization.

Trump’s push to use postal workers for the 2030 Census is just the tip of the iceberg. His real goal?

I’m fighting back. I proudly cosponsored H.Res.70, a bipartisan resolution making it clear: the USPS must remain independent and never be privatized.
