Earlier last week, we had our best fundraising day since we started this campaign, raising over $100,000 in just one day.

But I was just looking at the rest of the week's fundraising and saw that we're currently on a downward trajectory from June 2.

There are only 15 days left until the primary, which means we can't afford to continue on like this. Will you rush $5 today to our campaign and help us get back on track?

After we had banner fundraising days on June 2 and 3, we seriously ramped up our campaign. That means we made big new investments in voter outreach, put more money toward our digital ads to help spread the word, and increased our phone and text banking.

Now, as we approach the primary, we need more resources to keep all of this going. We need to make sure that Jamaal's candidacy is at the forefront of NY-16 voters' minds. We'll be able to cover the costs of what we've planned thus far, but without more support, we won't be able to continue the same level of crucial voter outreach efforts.

And while we're ramping up our efforts, so is our opponent. We just got word that Eliot Engel's long-time donors are starting to cut him bigger checks than ever to keep him in Congress; his top supporters include the weapons industry and Wall Street.
