Dear John,

Enough is enough. No more anti-Christian bias.

Although some of the recent developments coming out of our nation's capital are certainly cause for celebration -- such as actions taken by the executive branch to prohibit taxpayer funding for abortion, recognize the biological reality of two sexes, and protect children from radical "gender transition" procedures -- there are still many hidden threats within our government that seek to undermine faith, family, and freedom.

It's up to you and me to expose them.

The discredited Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has exerted its influence in the halls of government for far too long. For years, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and other federal agencies have treated the SPLC as if they were a trusted source of information, despite its blatant bias against Christians and conservatives. This must stop.

Did you know that SPLC leaders and staff visited the Biden White House at least 18 times? Over the past few years, they were welcomed with open arms, able to share their radical anti-Christian views on a wide spectrum of issues.

Thankfully, with the arrival of a new administration, there is an opportunity to change this. The second Trump administration is already taking steps to investigate anti-Christian bias within government agencies. Now is the time for the DOJ to cut all ties with the SPLC and publicly condemn that organization's influence.

John, make no mistake, the SPLC is dangerous -- and I am not using the word "dangerous" flippantly. The organization poses a serious threat to the biblical values you and I share and to our constitutional freedoms. Its notorious "hate map" has been linked to real-world violence -- such as the 2012 attempted mass shooting at FRC headquarters.

Floyd Corkins, the gunman in question, was a political activist who used the SPLC's list to identify FRC as a target. He later told the FBI that he intended to shoot and kill as many members of our team as he could before moving to other like-minded organizations in our nation's capital.

Despite repeated requests, the SPLC refused to remove FRC from its virtual hate map or alter its dangerous tactics.

FRC is intimately familiar with the harm the SPLC can cause, which is why I can say with zero reservation that an organization like theirs should never have any influence over our government again. The DOJ must cut ties with the SPLC and denounce its influence once and for all -- and Family Research Council is leading the charge.

You and I must urge Attorney General Pam Bondi and the DOJ to reject the SPLC's insidious lies and stop its attempts to infiltrate and influence this new administration.

By signing this petition to Attorney General Bondi, you're standing strong with FRC against the dangerous dishonesty peddled by the SPLC. Let the new administration know it is time to cut the SPLC as a source of information!

The psalmist asks God in Psalm 94:20 (ESV): "Can wicked rulers be allied with you, those who frame injustice by statute?" The SPLC has a long history of aligning with those who use the law not to uphold justice but to push a radical agenda that suppresses biblical truth. We cannot allow this to continue.

Sign the petition today and send a clear message: enough is enough. It's time to shut the SPLC out of our government.

We, the undersigned, urge the U.S. Department of Justice to immediately sever all ties with the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and formally renounce its influence on federal law enforcement and public policy decisions. The SPLC is a Leftist aligned organization that has a long and well-documented history of smearing faith-based organizations, mischaracterizing mainstream Christian and conservative groups as "hate groups," and inciting division and violence in our country.

Furthermore, we call on the DOJ to investigate the SPLC's documented role in influencing federal agencies under previous administrations, including its contributions to domestic terrorism threat assessments and its coordination with government entities to silence political opponents. The American people deserve transparency and accountability to ensure that extremist organizations are not weaponized against citizens of faith.

We respectfully request that your office take immediate steps to protect religious liberty, uphold the integrity of the DOJ, and prevent further abuse of federal power.
