In this World Wish Month™ edition of Wish Wednesday, we’re excited to introduce you to Florence, a remarkable 5-year-old with a wish that keeps on giving — to her whole community!
Florence’s dad Rich adores her, so it’s heartbreaking to hear him talk about her health struggles. He said, “At 22 months is when we first discovered the brain tumor … she was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, which is a rare brain cancer.” |
Florence had just stopped walking one day. Her dad continued, “We went to the emergency room, where they did a CAT scan. They found a softball size tumor in the middle of her brain.”
