President Trump plans to revoke legal status from over 500,000 immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela by April 24th, ending their work permits and exposing them to risk of deportation.
These immigrants are here legally under a Biden-era program because it is not safe for them to return to their home countries, where they could face violence and authoritarianism.
We’re talking about more than 500,000 people who live, work, and contribute to the economy here in California and across America, and don’t deserve to be treated this way. Oppose Trump’s cruel attack on immigrants seeking refuge in the U.S. now!
After already rolling out mass deportations, revoking student visas and detaining immigrants legally allowed to be here over their involvement in college protests, and sending over 200 immigrants to a mega-prison in El Salvador without due process and against a judge’s explicit orders, Trump’s coming for immigrants living here legally under humanitarian programs.
If he’s allowed to get away with this, his plan will turn families' lives upside down and hurt vulnerable communities.
