Greater Georgia Newsletter

April 9, 2025

The 2025 legislative session has come to an end, and the difference between the left's fixations and conservative achievements is clear.

While state liberals spent the session grandstanding -- even storming out over a vote to ban taxpayer-funded sex changes for prisoners -- real conservative leaders championed results for Georgia families. From $1 billion in tax savings and additional rebates to fully funding Promise Scholarships and passing protections for girls' sports, Georgia leadership delivered conservative victories.

This contrast makes plain what's on the line for the conservative movement as we prepare for next year's legislative session and gear up for next year’s midterm elections.

The focus now shifts to educating voters about what these policies mean to them and engaging with voters in their communities. Our team and volunteers have been working nonstop to educate diverse communities, register voters, and monitor legislation that directly impacts your family.

2025 LEGISLATIVE SESSION

The Georgia General Assembly's 2025 legislative session has officially come to an end. Our team has been tracking legislation that is important to Georgia taxpayers and families. Below is an update on some important bills that we are monitoring as they head to Governor Kemp's desk:

  • HB 268: Implements new safety protocols and tougher penalties to mitigate threats against school children.
  • HB 340: Bans the use of cellphones, smartwatches, and tablets for K-8 grades, ensuring students have distraction-free learning environments.
