It’s almost National Pet Day! The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors formally declared April 11th National Pet Day, and the Department of Animal Care and Control is celebrating with an adoption promo for all dogs 35+lbs. From April 11th-May 10th, they're waiving adoption fees, including microchip and spay/neuter. There’s no better way to celebrate National Pet Day than by giving a furry friend a forever home. For information visit, animalcare.lacounty.gov/.

Also, April 11th is National Therapy Dog Appreciation Day, and ahead of that day let’s share the work some therapy dogs do to help patients at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center. Click here to watch.
