In February, Trump banned Associated Press journalists from attending White House events because they wouldn’t use the idiotic term “Gulf of America” in their news coverage when referring to the Gulf of Mexico. This was a vindictive and blatantly unconstitutional move – and a federal judge agreed. Judge Trevor McFadden just told the White House to restore AP’s access because banning them for political differences is in violation of the First Amendment. This judge was appointed by Trump, so we applaud him for doing the right thing and not bending to Trump’s will. Join us in thanking Judge McFadden for standing up to Trump and protecting the First Amendment >> |
