Greg Abbott just made his move: He finally called a special election for TX-18—but he scheduled it for NOVEMBER.

That’s seven full months where nearly 800,000 Texans—mostly Black, mostly Democratic—will go without a representative in Congress.

Let’s call this what it is: A blatant power grab. A deliberate attempt to deny a Democratic district its voice. And a disgusting abuse of power.

Republicans know they’re losing ground—so instead of winning elections, they’re undermining them.
