 Every day, my office fields hundreds of calls from constituents across every corner of Oregon’s 5th District. And can you guess what one of the most common things we hear is? The cost of living is too damn high. I couldn’t agree more. Whether it's the cost of groceries, the price of healthcare, or the rising price tag on rent, it feels nearly impossible to even afford the necessities these days. And not only is the President failing to address the problem… he’s making it a whole lot worse. That’s why I stepped up and introduced the Protecting Families from Inflation Act. This legislation would require the Federal Reserve to examine the impact that Trump’s tariffs have on everyday families and small businesses. I’m not going to sit by as Donald Trump jacks up the cost of living for families like yours and mine.
