A few days ago we asked our members worldwide to join our Restore Worship campaign by sending us a short video.

The feedback we received was incredible: thousands of people all over the world have sent us their video clips. 

In many countries, as you probably know, officials have decided to allow churches to open their doors, to reinstate public worship services with the proper safety precautions.

In most parts of the United States, Germany, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Italy, Netherlands, and Spain, churches have finally reopened and worship has been restored!

In some states across the U.S., unreasonable restrictions have clergy and parishioners still fighting. In the United Kingdom, the government announced on Sunday that churches may open for private individual prayer only, starting from June 15. In Ireland, public Masses may begin from June 29. 

There are other countries planning to reopen their churches soon, maybe even today as you are reading this email

But there are still so many Christian citizens who still can’t celebrate Sunday worship and the Sunday Eucharist in Nevada, California, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and many other countries in Latin America. 

So many people, so many CitizenGOers, have lent a hand to protect the right to believers to freely profess one's religious faith and practice its worship.

Now let’s take one more step: please watch the video we have created with the messages we have received from our members worldwide. Then please share it via social media, to spread around our Restore Worship campaign message:

We respectfully continue to ask all officials to allow churches to re-open and allow worship, to also pay attention to our needs, to consider that we need to celebrate our faith. In particular, we ask you to immediately resume the celebration of the Sunday worship and the Sunday Eucharist.

Step by step, the pandemic seems to be getting under control: we are recovering our daily life and the economic activity can commence, although with reservations and precautions. 

In many countries people are back to their churches: let’s pray and act so that it will be the case everywhere and as soon as possible.
