Republican” Michelle Salzman introduced a bill (HB 1321) that would make it ILLEGAL for Governor Ron DeSantis to speak in favor of conservatives seeking to serve as college presidents.

You heard that right —
this is a direct attack on our ability to put strong, anti-WOKE leaders like Richard Corcoran and Tommy Gregory in charge of Florida’s universities.

State legislators from Lake County, including Keith Truenow, Taylor Yarkosky, Nan Cobb, and Richard Gentry
are supporting this awful bill.

Corcoran and Gregory are doing a phenomenal job rooting out the radical WOKE nonsense in our higher education system, and now the legislature wants to tie DeSantis’ hands to stop more appointments like theirs.

DeSantis has been taking on the radical left in our universities, banning DEI programs, and ensuring our schools focus on education,
NOT indoctrination.

This new legislature has lost its mind and is basically serving as another Democrat institution at this point…
