Is history repeating itself with Antifa?
With Antifa blamed for inciting much of the recent rioting in our cities, it's critical for Americans to understand Antifa's past and its present. In fact, today's Antifa bears a striking resemblance to a predecessor that gained notoriety during the Vietnam War: the Weathermen -- a violent group that broke off from the antiwar Left and resorted to terrorist tactics that targeted police and military in a bid to overthrow the U.S. government. Antifa is following the same path, as CRC's Ken Braun reports here.

Who used CRC research to expose a tech advocacy group's funders?
A recent Reuters wire service report used CRC research to reveal the tech giants financing the Center for Democracy & Technology -- the group that filed suit against President Trump's executive order on social media. This case demonstrates not only how well positioned Big Tech is to influence public policy but also the powerful reach of CRC's exposés of money and influence in American politics. What do recent elections reveal about voting by mail?
Massive problems with delivering ballots for the April by-election in Maryland have state officials questioning whether the system will be ready for November elections. Ohio ran into similar problems with its April 28 vote-by-mail primary. Other states' experiences further demonstrate that creating statewide vote-by-mail systems is a lengthy process that takes years, not months, to implement -- even without a pandemic, as CRC's Kristiann Koris reports here.

Who is funding the eco-Right organizations?
CRC's Hayden Ludwig takes a close look at the finances of one eco-Right organization and discovers that at least 97 percent of its funding in 2018 came from left-wing foundations. This pattern holds throughout the eco-Right, with nearly every group receiving significant funding from left-wing donors. The inverse is also true: There's no conservative donor base to support the eco-Right. Read Ludwig's observations here.
