** Celebrating Our Volunteers: The Heart Behind Our Mission

April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month, and we couldn’t let it pass without shining a light on the incredible people who make our work possible—our volunteers.
From packing thousands of art supply kits with care, to helping us raise critical funds, referring us to schools and youth programs in need, and teaching Art in Action in classrooms—YOU are the reason we’re able to bring visual arts education to K–8 students across the country who might not otherwise have access. In the 2024–2025 school year alone, our office and warehouse volunteers donated over 800 hours—and that’s in addition to the countless hours our volunteer docents invest in preparing and teaching lessons to students nationwide!
Your dedication fuels our mission and puts creativity back into the hands of young artists. Thanks to your time, effort, and passion, we've reached more communities than ever, inspiring imagination, confidence, and joy through art. We are deeply grateful for everything you do.
