Last week, we took a break from our Controlling What You Canseries to bring you some big news! The Young Forwardists committee has partnered with Mark Cuban to bring you the Changemaker Contest. They're challenging people across the country to flood social media with memes about current events and Forward to raise name recognition and attract new members. People from around the country are submitting their memes between now and 4/21, and the winner will get a special shout out from Mark himself.

But that's not the only big news that happened this week! The Utah Forward Party announced an intended merger with the Utah United Party, a move that will bolster the party immensely! The two groups will be voting on the official merger at the state convention at the end of the month <[link removed]>. This announcement comes hot on the heals of another huge piece of Utah news when just a couple weeks ago, State Senator Dan Thatcher switched his affiliation to FWD <[link removed]>. The Forward Party now has a sitting state senator, and he's already showing what it means to be a Forward leader.
