Elon Musk is trying to renege on promises made to our farmers, and Josh is fighting back.

Across Upstate New York, over 150 farmers have contracts with the Department of Agriculture to share the cost of common-sense farm upgrades. In many cases, these folks have already paid for the improvements, and now they’re counting on the government to uphold its end of the bargain.

But now Elon Musk’s decided… the government just isn’t going to pay.

It’s complete bullshit.

Can you imagine if the shoe was on the other foot? Elon Musk has billions of dollars in federal contracts. If we just decided out of nowhere to stop paying, he’d have a total meltdown. But that’s exactly what he’s doing to farmers now, all so he can pay for tax breaks for billionaires like himself.

So last week, Josh introduced the Honor Farmer Contracts Act, which says if you make a promise, you keep it. It would tell Elon to take a hike, and unfreeze all the money our farmers are owed.

While Josh continues to work for Upstate New Yorkers in Congress, he’s counting on us to help him defend this seat from any challengers who want to stop our progress. Will you contribute today to help us keep NY-19 blue?
