Like you, our team has been following the alarming attacks on the rule of law in recent weeks. We The Action was created by lawyers, for lawyers. We believe in the rule of law and that includes having an independent judiciary, allowing lawyers to vigorously represent their clients, and enabling all people to advance their interests in courts of law.
We also believe in the power of the legal profession to safeguard our democracy and protect vulnerable populations. Here at We The Action, we believe in the power of pro bono work to increase access to justice, balancing the scales of power for individuals and communities who cannot otherwise afford legal representation.
The path ahead is uncertain, but one thing remains clear: we will stand firm and continue to do everything in our power to mobilize lawyers to use their skills and expertise to protect the most vulnerable, defend civil rights, and uphold our democracy.

Join the Public Service Legal Response Center
We The Action
The Public Service Legal Response Center will serve as a central hub to connect lawyers who want to assist current or former federal workers with opportunities to help. Lawyers will provide a variety of types of assistance to these public servants, from intakes and general guidance to direct representation in appeals or legal proceedings. Join today ahead of the kick-off this month.

Help the organization and its members prepare for attacks on their nonprofit status. Share assessment of vulnerabilities and create an action plan for how to respond to an attack.

Provide Organizational Defense to Nonprofits within the Low-Wage Worker Movement
GLOW: Grassroots Law & Organizing for Workers
Support organizations that are prepping for organizational attacks and meet their needs as they arise. Legal experience in at least one of the following areas is required: government investigations, labor and employment law, tax-exempt organizations, or tax law.
