Brenda Cruz, who will serve as Chief of Staff to the Chairman, a proud Laredo native and the daughter of working-class parents, has been with the Texas Democratic Party since 2018. Her work as County Services Director has already impacted communities across the state, and we're excited to elevate her to this new role where she will continue to lead with heart and purpose.

Sam Gostomski, our new Executive Director, is a fourth-generation Texan from San Antonio, has been with the party since 2020, starting as a VAN assistant, serving as Legislative and District Director in the state Legislature, and rising to become Data Director of the Texas Democratic Party’s nationally renowned data team. His experience with Texas campaigns, the Texas Legislature, and his long tenure with the Texas Democratic Party makes him uniquely equipped to guide our organization into the future.

Friend, I couldn’t be more excited to be in this fight with you and alongside Brenda and Sam. Make no mistake: we’re going to reimagine this party, we’re going to fight hard, and we are going to win. But we can’t do it without you.
