Over the weekend, I joined millions of fed-up Americans in protest to tell Donald Trump and Elon Musk to keep their hands off our schools, our earned benefits, our freedoms, and our economy. Trump let unelected billionaire Elon Musk take a chainsaw to Social Security, to personal data at the IRS, to important federal agencies and programs, and to our standing in the world.

I had the opportunity to speak to thousands of people rallying in Hillsboro and Beaverton, where we had huge turnouts. Thousands more marched through downtown Portland and in small towns across NW Oregon, and around the country.

I'm taking this energy and inspiration back to Washington, D.C. as we continue our fight for civil rights, freedom, and democracy and stand against Trump, Musk, DOGE, and their authoritarian actions.

It's been a chaotic and challenging few months, but the cracks are starting to appear, and momentum is on our side. Just last week, Musk spent $25 million trying to buy a Supreme Court seat in Wisconsin – and he lost by double digits. And today, Musk and a few Republicans are challenging Trump about the harmful tariff war that's causing panic across the global economy and further alienating our allies.

Thank you for marching, calling your Representatives, showing up to town halls, and making your voices heard. The fight to win the majority in the House is already underway. And I'm asking you to be part of our effort so we have a check on this rogue administration.
