In just the last few weeks, Donald Trump signed an executive order aimed at overhauling our entire voting system—because apparently, to him, losing elections means the system is broken.
This order demands that state officials hand over their voter rolls to Elon Musk and his so-called “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) to "clean up" the voter files.
Yes, we’re rolling our eyes, too.
Trump continues to push the lie that he won in 2020 and that this is somehow his third term. It’s nonsense—but dangerous nonsense. Millions of Americans have fallen for it, and the consequences could be catastrophic in 2026 and 2028.
But in Arizona, we have a firewall.
Secretary of State Adrian Fontes has been on the frontlines protecting our democracy and fighting back against election lies. Here’s what he’s accomplished:
✅ Public Education Campaigns – Launching statewide efforts to debunk election disinformation and show voters how elections really work in Arizona.
✅ Expanded Voter Access – Safeguarding vote-by-mail, early voting, and in-person options so every Arizonan can cast their ballot easily and securely.
✅ Multilingual Resources – Publishing clear guides and FAQs in English and Spanish to make sure every voter has the information they need.
Secretary Fontes is proving what it looks like to lead with integrity, transparency, and purpose. But we need to keep him in office to continue this fight—because the threats are only growing.
If we want to defend our elections, we need to start now. In 2025 and 2026, we’ll be powering a massive voter contact and registration operation across Maricopa County—home to more than 60% of Arizona voters.
