For over three years, children's lives have been devastated by war across Ukraine. For many, the past three years have encompassed multiple moves from temporary homes, separation from family members and friends, the loss of loved ones and disrupted learning and health care.
Friend, can you imagine living in constant fear for three years? Can you imagine not knowing when you’ll experience peace again?
Since before the war broke out in February 2022, UNICEF has been active in Ukraine — delivering emergency assistance, care and essential supplies to families. But as strikes and escalations cause additional destruction, children continue to suffer the devastating consequences.
A gift from you will help deliver essential support to an entire generation of children living through war, in Ukraine and elsewhere.
Will you help send emergency supplies, learning materials, mental health support and more?
Since the beginning of the war, support from people like you has been vital in ensuring children’s needs are met. With your help, UNICEF has been able to reach:
- Over 5 million children and women with primary health services through UNICEF-supported health facilities and mobile teams
- Over 1.45 million children with educational programming and early learning
- Nearly 3 million children, adolescents and caregivers with access to mental health support
- Nearly 5.8 million people, including 958,000 children, with safe drinking water
UNICEF is working around the clock to meet the urgent needs of children and families, but more support is critical. With each new escalation of violence comes additional suffering for children across Ukraine.
Your gift will help provide children caught in the middle of war with essential supplies right now — and deliver long-term support to help rebuild their lives in the future.
Thank you for caring for children,
UNICEF USA
