Jeanne Shaheen U.S. Senator

Friends – if Congress and President Trump don't act now, the U.S. Postal Service could collapse in September. That's just three months from now.

The Postal Service is a vital lifeline for millions of families, especially now with so many of us stuck at home. And if it goes bankrupt, more than 600,000 Americans will lose their jobs during a time of unprecedented unemployment. But despite what's at stake, Trump is threatening to veto any emergency relief that would help keep it afloat.

With countless families relying on the USPS for their paychecks, food and prescriptions during this moment of crisis, we absolutely cannot afford to lose our federal post office. That's why we need 232 more people like you, friends, to demand Trump protect the USPS. But we can only take responses until midnight tonight, and we're still missing yours:

Should Donald Trump protect the U.S. Postal Service?
