John, Donald Trump sold his base on the promise that he would boost the economy and lower costs for average Americans.
Since entering office, he has done the exact opposite:
❌ He imposed extreme tariffs on goods from allies like Canada that will drive up costs. ❌ He is attempting to slash government programs that provide affordable health care. ❌ He has eliminated thousands of federal jobs. ❌ He says bringing down the cost of groceries would be “very hard.”
Now, public polling shows that a 56% majority of Americans disapprove of Trump’s handling of the economy — worse than at any point in his first term.
