Political ideology has no place in the doctor-patient relationship, but the Trump administration’s new Title X "gag" rule blocks doctors from referring patients to abortion providers.
The new rule goes into effect tonight at midnight, so Planned Parenthood is leaving the family planning program -- putting the most vulnerable Americans at risk of losing access to affordable reproductive health care.
Suzan DelBene is fighting back in Congress -- she voted in favor of a bill that would block this disastrous change to the Title X program and get politics out of women’s health care. But that bill isn’t law yet, and we need to take a stand today.
Abortion is health care and must be defended, John. Add your name if you stand with Planned Parenthood and oppose the entry of politics into our medical care.
