Today is Advocacy Day! I’m coming to you live from our Western PA bus to Harrisburg, where I’m joined by 40 dedicated advocates ready to lobby their legislators for gun safety laws. Our core crew here has been up and cracking since 5:30 a.m. and we’re still about an hour out from the Capitol.

We need to amplify our in-person lobbying by sending a barrage of messages flurrying through the Capitol. Will you take a minute send your State Representative a note, urging them to support gun safety priorities like safe storage, universal background checks, and Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs)?

Our gun safety priorities are broadly popular solutions that have been proven successful in other states. We know safe storage, universal background checks, and ERPOs would keep guns out of dangerous hands and keep Pennsylvanians safe, and frankly, we’re tired of receiving lip service instead.

As I sit on this bus sharing snacks with advocates just like you, I’m feeling hopeful and motivated about the change we’re about to make. But, I still have to call in for reinforcements. Will you help fortify our Advocacy Day efforts by lobbying for our gun safety priorities from home?
