The first Leaders’ Debate showed the clear choice at this election.

Peter Dutton outlined how we would provide immediate relief – including 25 cents a litre off petrol – and a plan to get our country back on track.

Australians are doing it tough. Under Labor, Australia has had the biggest fall in living standards in the developed world.

On the eve of the election, Labor’s budget revealed at least ten years of deficits.

Labor has simply failed to prepare our economy for the challenges that lie ahead.

Can you support our campaign to get Australia back on track?

Tonight, Albanese offered no solutions, but plenty of lies.

He lied about hospital funding. The fact is hospital funding almost doubled under the Liberals – from $13.3 billion (in 2012-13) to $24.7 billion (in 2021-22).
Albanese lied about Medicare bulk billing. However, bulk billing was higher under the Liberals – 88% (in 2021-22), compared to 77% (in 2023-24).
Albanese lied about Labor’s wasteful spending. Labor’s recent budget reveals ten years of deficits and over a trillion dollars of debt.

We need your support to push back against Labor’s lies and promote our plan.

The Liberal plan will deliver:

A strong economy with low inflation. We will rein in wasteful spending that fuels inflation and reduce tax, red-tape and the control of union bosses over small businesses.
Cheaper energy. We will ensure more gas is reserved for Australians as part of our balanced energy mix, including more renewables and zero-emissions nuclear energy.
Affordable homes. We will boost supply by funding critical infrastructure, ease demand by restricting foreign investors and rebalancing migration, assist first home buyers and deregister the CFMEU.
Safer communities. We will keep Australians safe by boosting our defence and border security and enhancing community safety.
Quality healthcare. We will fund more GPs to address current shortages, and increase bulk billing and the number of Medicare-subsidised mental health sessions.
