John, I just joined my good friend Jon Ossoff at a campaign rally for his reelection here in Georgia. I’ll be honest: Jon is in the fight of his political life – and he’ll need support from every single one of us to defend this seat. I hope you’ll give me a moment to explain.
Jon is the only Democratic senator up for reelection in a state that Donald Trump won, and Trump loyalist Marjorie Taylor Greene has said multiple times that she may be the one to run against him.
If she does, you better believe that she’ll have the GOP behind her – including Donald Trump, Elon Musk, far-right conspiracists, and billionaire-backed super PACs. That means hundreds of millions of dollars are going to flood into Georgia to defeat Jon, and he’s going to need a historic grassroots campaign behind him to fight back and win.
You can’t build up that level of grassroots support overnight though, John. That’s why I’m personally asking you to pitch in what you can – right now, today. Please, will you donate $5 or more now – split between my campaign and Jon Ossoff’s – to keep Georgia blue and take back the Senate for Democrats?
Since he first stepped foot in the Senate, Jon has been fighting day in and day out for you and your family. When it comes to the things that will make a real difference in your life, Jon gets the job done.
I know that Georgians are disturbed about the direction of our country right now, which is why we need Jon’s voice in the Senate now more than ever. It won’t be easy. But I know a thing or two about winning tough races here in Georgia, so believe me when I tell you: We can win this seat, but it will depend on each and every one of us doing our part.
So I have to ask: Can I count on you to pitch in $5 or more now – split between me and Jon – to defend Georgia, take back the Senate for Democrats, and put a stop to Donald Trump’s harmful Project 2025 agenda?
