For every Musk, there’s a Martin, a Medgar, a Malcolm — and millions of others who will stand for America even when they try to tear it down.

I believe we are at another turning point in our country. This is not a partisan moment. This is not a left or right moment. This is a right or wrong moment.

It’s time for everyone to stand up even if your voice shakes. It’s time to stand up even if your legs are weary.

We achieved every great thing in this country because average citizens stood up and said enough is enough.

They banded together and bonded together — across gender, race, and even party — and said it’s time we unite to bend the arc of the moral universe towards justice.

So for all of those people who are weary and tired and worried, who’ve been standing and feel like they can’t stand anymore, it’s time for us to stand up and stand with them.

To stand for health care. To stand for Social Security. To stand for our values. 

We will stand together. We will rise together. We will fight together.

And together, we the people, will win this fight.
