John —

As long as lawmakers prioritize the ultra-wealthy over hardworking Arizonans, Opportunity Arizona will show up to call out their BS.

And over the weekend, that’s exactly what we did.

We stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Arizonans to tell Donald Trump and Elon Musk: 📣 Hands off!

As our Executive Director, Ben Scheel, said at the rally:

“Today we come to do our part so that justice continues to bend towards freedom and prosperity for all, not just those that can give million dollar contributions and kickbacks to corrupt politicians. We come to say no to tax hikes for working people and devastating cuts to our healthcare, Social Security and public lands, so Trump can turn around and give the largest tax cut in history to his oligarch friends. We say no!” 💪

As prices for housing and groceries rise sky-high, and we barrel headfirst into a recession because of Donald Trump, our elected officials have turned their efforts away from everyday people and towards the wealthy few.

Instead of providing relief for middle-class families, state lawmakers continue to prioritize bills like SB1085 that would give tax cuts to their megadonors to fund their private jet renovations. 🙄

We expect our elected officials to act with integrity, and those acting without it should be held accountable at every turn. Arizonans mobilized to speak out against representatives who refuse to fight for everyday people, but keeping up this fight is crucial to pressuring our elected officials to pass our affordability agenda.

Grassroots supporters like you fuel our fight for working families across Arizona. Can you pitch in a donation today to ensure we can continue to put pressure on our elected officials, pass our affordability agenda, and finally level the playing field for everyday Arizonans? [[link removed]]

We believe that there is power in numbers, and this weekend was a reminder of our collective strength. Building on this momentum and strengthening our coalition of engaged Arizonans is how we’ll achieve a future where our interests are put above the ultra-wealthy.

Thank you for supporting this fight, John.
