Hi John,

When I first started my career as a switchboard operator for the speaker of
the House, I saw how everyday Americans could influence policy that mattered to
them — simply by picking up the phone and speaking to their lawmakers.

It was a powerful reminder of the change that happens when concerned citizens
like you speak up.

Few throughout history have been granted the extraordinary privilege of
shaping the direction of our republic.

That belief in citizen action guided my conversation with Kevin Gentry on the
“Going Big!" Podcast.

Politics isn’t controlled by immovable forces.

It’s shaped by individuals like you who are willing to take action and hold
lawmakers accountable.

At AFP, our mission is to amplify your voice and drive meaningful change to
reignite the American Dream.

On the podcast, Kevin and I discussed one of the largest challenges we face as
2026 approaches: the expiration of the 2017 Trump tax cuts.

These tax cuts saved countless American families thousands, which paved the
way for them to achieve their version of the American Dream.

But the tax cuts are not guaranteed to last.

The stakes couldn’t be higher: Depending on where you live, you could face a
tax increase of up to$3,500 per year if the cuts expire. With many families
already feeling the weight of inflation and rising costs, this isn’t a change
we can afford to ignore.

Here’s the problem: If the bill to extend the tax cuts comes too late — or
does too little — then it may fail to address the economic struggles families
face due to the terrible policies of the past four years.

The stakes are too high for inaction.

Here are two things you can do right now to help millions of other Americans
fight for what matters most:

1️⃣ Watch the podcast episode.

I discuss how we can shift public opinion and empower citizens to influence
Washington and state capitols.

2️⃣ Reach out to your lawmakers.

I hope you realize by now that your voice carries weight. By contacting your
representatives, you can urge them to act now to preserve the full benefits of
the tax cuts.

Thank you for standing with me in this fight. With your support, we can remind
lawmakers that real power belongs to the people.

Warm regards,
