Dear Comrades,
Thank you all for turning out in force at the Hands Off rally on Saturday the 5th. Your presence made a real difference, and together we helped send a powerful message—not just locally, but across the country. The rally was a huge success for progressives nationwide, and it’s thanks to committed organizers and supporters like you. Your voices, signs, and solidarity showed that Santa Fe stands firmly in defense of our values, and that we won’t back down in the face of injustice.
As we celebrate that victory, it’s crucial we keep showing up—at rallies, at town halls, at city council and county commission meetings. These public spaces are where policy takes shape and where our pressure matters most. Every seat we fill, every public comment we make, every sign we wave chips away at the systems we’re fighting to change. Showing up is organizing. Let’s continue to be visible, vocal, and united. See you in the streets on April 19th—and in the meeting rooms.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration has published its Draft Site-Wide Environment Impact Statement (SWEIS) for Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). The SWEIS analyzes potential environmental impacts of LANL operations for the next 15 years.
This is a crucial opportunity to lift up your voice to express concerns about LANL’s impact on our communities. Our friends at Honor Our Pueblo Existence (HOPE) and Concerned Citizens for Nuclear Safety have put together a letter you can send to the LANL SWEIS document manager. |
