Sweeping tariffs from the Trump administration have cratered the economy and everyone is holding their breath about how much higher the price of the basics we need to survive can possibly go.

It’s clear: The Trump Administration is not trying to “liberate” you. They’re leaving the door open for our nation’s largest corporations to make you carry the burden for their political mistakes.

But we can’t retreat when times get tough. It’s our responsibility to step up and make sure that we confront this crisis with courage.

Here in Maryland, our goal is to uplift the middle class and invest in our people. Our budget will grow the economy, cut taxes for 94% of Marylanders, and make things easier for middle class families.
