Friend,
This weekend, millions of people filled the streets in
every state at more than 1,400 Hands Off! events to
protest Trump and Musk’s threats to our democracy in the
largest mobilization since Trump took office.
With Passover starting this weekend, I am reminded of the
the Erev Rav — the mixed multitude that left the
narrow place of Egypt together. This diverse group of Jews and
non-Jews alike journeyed together through the desert for forty years
to find the promised land.
The Erev Rav is us, right now. We get free today,
as we did in ancient times, only in solidarity.
We, the Erev Rav, are the majority. If we
all speak together, we win. If we all vote together, we win. If we all
keep marching together, like we did this weekend, we win.
