April 12, 2025 - National Healing Vigil Day of Action
For the eighth year, hundreds of crime survivors from across America will mark the end of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week by gathering with state and local leaders for a national day of action. During the annual Survivors Speak National Healing Vigil Day of Action on Saturday, April 12, survivors from communities most affected by violence will promote a more effective vision of shared safety that includes more crime prevention, greater support for survivors and their families, and less reliance on incarceration.
At each local event, survivors will share their stories, honor loved ones and themselves with a powerful healing circle, and call upon local, state, and national policymakers to implement new safety solutions based on prevention and healing.
