Sen. Cornyn’s hypocrisy is astounding. First he was the “top salesman” to repeal the Affordable Care Act and voted twenty times to gut its protections. But now he’s telling millions of unemployed Texans that it’s “good news” they can get coverage under its protections.

No matter what he says, actions speak louder than words, and Senator Cornyn’s actions tell us clearly: He’s not on Texans’ side when it comes to their health care. His allies are even pushing a lawsuit to destroy the ACA and he hasn’t lifted a finger to stop it!

Sen. Cornyn wants to have his cake and eat it too -- to fight against the legislation his corporate PAC donors tell him to, then turn around and tell voters that those same policies are good for them. He did it with the Affordable Care Act. He did it with unemployment insurance for workers hit by COVID-19. He’ll do it again. That’s why we need to replace him.
