Wishing you a great week ahead 40-Hour Core Advocacy Training: Strengthening Advocacy in Tribal Communities The Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women (CSVANW) warmly invites you to participate in our 40-Hour Core Advocacy Training. Whether you're an experienced advocate or just starting your journey, this state-certified training equips you with the knowledge, skills, and culturally responsive tools needed to provide trauma-informed advocacy and crisis intervention within Tribal communities. Register Legislative Advocacy Training Virtual - ZOOM ο»ΏWe invite you to join the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women (CSVANW) for our upcoming Legislative Advocacy Training hosted by our Policy & Advocacy team. πŸ“… Date: Thursday, April 17, 2025 πŸ• Time: 1:00 PM – 2 PM (MT) This focused training session will provide an overview of legislative advocacy, including: Β· How a bill becomes a law in New Mexico Β· How to identify and connect with your state district legislators Β· Advocacy best practices Β· A review of bills CSVANW has supported in previous sessions By deepening our understanding of the legislative process, we move closer to our mission of eradicating violence against Native women and children. Through education and collective action, we champion social change and strive to create violence-free communities where Native families can thrive. This training reflects our values of Innovation, as we engage in bold action to influence change; Kinship, as we uphold the dignity of our communities; and Healing, as we build pathways to safer futures.
