The transport of uranium ore from a northern Arizona mine to a southern Utah refining plant has resumed via tribal lands following months of negotiations, providing a pathway for the U.S. to increase domestic uranium production.

The agreement allows for up to 10 trucks to haul ore daily from Energy Fuels Inc.’s mine in the Kaibab National Forest through tribal lands to the White Mesa Mill plant near Blanding, Utah.

Louisiana lands major supply chain plant for EV batteries [[link removed]]

A Japanese company says it will establish the first U.S. based production plant for key components in electric vehicle batteries in Louisiana.

The $500 million plant will be located along the Mississippi River in Jefferson Parish, and UBE says it will produce 100,000 tons a year of dimethyl carbonate (DMC) and 40,000 tons of ethyl methyl carbonate (EMC).
