First, I want to thank you for being part of the reason our campaign is in a strong position at this point in the race. We’ve come a long way since launching in July, and we’ve built a powerful grassroots movement that will ensure our next leader in NY-01 believes in science and works for Suffolk County families.
It may be my name on the ballot, but this election is about so much more than me. Our race is about better health care, common-sense gun safety measures, the future of our planet -- this race is about you and your neighbors.
We are entering the next phase of our race, and I am grateful to know you are with me.
Voters have already begun voting by mail, and in just one week, voters across Suffolk County will begin casting their ballots in person during early voting for our June 23 primary. And that means we need to reach tens of thousands of voters as quickly as possible to ensure they’ve heard from us before they return their ballots.
We know that our communication strategy through the mail, on television, and over the phones is working, and that if we can ramp up our spending in each of those categories, we can win. But we also know that this is a tight race and that we don’t have any room for error.
Over the next few days, we MUST not let up. Voters are mailing in their absentee ballots every day, and early voting is quickly approaching.
My team and I will be reaching out with ways you can help us sustain our efforts to ensure we remove a science-denying, far-right Trump-ally from office.
Thank you for all that you do,
Nancy
