Democrats Stage Protests in Deep-Blue Cities Across the Country

DW: Opponents of President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk gathered to rally across the US on Saturday to protest the administration’s actions. More than 1,200 “Hands Off!” demonstrations were planned by more than 150 groups, including civil rights organizations, labor unions, LBGTQ advocates, veterans and elections activists (DW). Townhall: It’s another massive coping exercise for people who don’t understand why they lost the 2024 election. No doubt, the media coverage is going to magnify and make these whine fests something more than they are. The reality is that all these protests were in deep blue enclaves, and they weren’t well-attended. It’s not like during the first Trump presidency—liberal America has been thoroughly gutted by 2024. They’ll never admit it, but actions do speak louder than words. Even here, there’s not much, except for recycled chants and slogans that don’t work anymore. Trump is back. The Democrats need a new playbook, and they have nothing, no adjustments. Zilch (Townhall). This is dangerously close to calling for violence. Daily Post: Some of the protesters could be seen displaying placards with inscriptions, “we are not okay, hands off the USA, 8647.” The 8647 figures are alleged to be a call for President Trump’s assassination. 8647 is a TikTok trend that means two different things. The 8647 is designed to be a silent form of protest designed to signal opposition to President Trump’s administration. While 86 is a number commonly used to mean something like “get rid of,” 47 is the number president that Trump is in his second term (Daily Post). Libs of TikTok: Protestors spotted in Redmond, Oregon are openly calling for “8647.” “86” means to dispose of or kill, and “47” refers to President Trump (X). Senator Mike Lee: Pretty sure encouraging people to kill President Trump is a crime (X).

Trump Insists No Deal With China Until $1 Trillion Deficit is Resolved

Townhall: On Sunday, President Donald Trump made it clear that the United States will not settle for a bad deal with China. In a firm stance against unfair trade practices, Trump insists that America will not enter any trade agreement with China unless the massive trade deficit is resolved. He is pushing for a world that works for everyone. Just the News: Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the head of the Department of Government Efficiency said on Saturday that he hopes the United States and Europe eventually agree no having no tariffs on goods. “I hope it is agreed that both Europe and The United States should move ideally in my view to a zero tariff situation, effectively creating a free trade zone between Europe and North America,” Musk said, appearing remotely during an event in Italy (Just the News). President Trump’s tariffs cover some 70 percent of the EU’s exports to the United States – worth in total 532 billion euros ($585 billion) last year – with likely duties on copper, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors and timber still to come (Economic Times). As his ten percent universal tariffs take effect, Trump has called on Americans to “hang tough” and weather the short-term challenges, promising that the long-term benefits will be worth it. Declaring that the U.S. is in the midst of an “economic revolution,” the president is determined to break free from decades of unfair trade practices and restore American manufacturing. This bold move aims to level the playing field, ensuring American workers and industries are no longer disadvantaged. Just days after his global tariffs took effect, Trump promised to take decisive steps to bring back American jobs and protect the nation’s economic interests. In a Truth Social post, the president promised an economic revival that the U.S. would win. Trump has implemented a 34% tariff on Chinese imports, which is set to take effect next week. In response, Beijing has revealed it will impose a matching 34% tariff on American goods starting April 10. However, the move appeared to have little impact on Trump (Townhall). Human rights and professional misconduct tribunals sent a chill through the Pacific Province in recent weeks through rulings against a woman who questioned her transgender friend’s medical plans to resemble the opposite sex and another who expressed her fondness on a billboard for Harry Potter creator and gender-critical activist J.K. Rowling. Former registered nurse Kirsten Olsen is challenging the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal’s $10,000 fine against her, based on her privately stated concern about her friend and tenant Terry Wiebe’s planned mastectomy, at the BC Supreme Court, arguing that her comments weren’t about Wiebe’s gender identity even if Olsen’s Charter right to freedom of expression took a backseat (Just the News). Genevieve Gluck: Canadian nurse Amy Hamm was put through a long and humiliating investigation because she would not accept the lie that men can become women. Now she’s just had her employment terminated. Canada is punishing medical staff for knowing the basics about biology. Meanwhile, this is an actual training video for medical staff at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. The video was funded by taxpayers (X).

UK Women's Pool Tournament Final Features Two Trans Players

Fox News: A women’s pool tournament championship in the United Kingdom featured two transgender athletes who defeated their female competition. Harriet Haynes and Lucy Smith went toe-to-toe in the Ultimate Pool Women’s Pro Series Event 2 at Robin Park Leisure Centre in Wigan. Both competitors defeated four female opponents each to get to the championship bout…The rules of both the English Pool Association and World Eightball Pool Federation (WEPF) state that trans-identified athletes are allowed to compete in the sport with absolutely no restrictions, according to their website. Those bylaws for the English Pool Association have been under review since December 2023 (Fox News). Robby Starbuck: You can’t make this stuff up. Only leftists can defend having every woman ELIMINATED from an all women’s league final by 2 mentally ill men. We must reject this lunacy for girls everywhere (X)!
