Hi John,

I’m running for re-election to Congress to ensure that we continue the important work of serving North Texas.

I’m proud of that work, but there’s still much to be done. One of my top priorities is ensuring that our communities are safe -- and that means passing common-sense gun reforms to put a stop to the gun violence epidemic in this country.

Gun violence is a public health issue, and I am committed to fighting for background checks, “red flag” gun laws and ensuring that weapons of war are off our streets.

Today I’m demanding that Congress pass gun safety legislation -- and I need your help. Add your name to join our call to action >>

After a violent shooter took the lives of small children at Sandy Hook, we should have been able to pass gun safety legislation. But we haven’t, because the NRA was able to buy influence over politicians.

We have a gun violence epidemic in this country -- and it will take all of us to stop the corruption that has led us to this moment.

If you agree that it’s past time for us to protect our children, end the NRA’s influence, and pass gun safety legislation, add your name.

I know that change is possible -- and I’m grateful for your support.

Thank you,
Colin
