John, House Republicans are planning to present the SAVE Act – a bill that would add restrictions to voter registration and disenfranchise millions of eligible voters.

The vast majority of Americans don’t support new restrictions on their right to vote. But I want to know what you think before this bill is brought to the floor. Will you take my survey now?

Do you support the Republican SAVE Act to make voting more difficult?

Here’s what the so-called SAVE Act will do if it’s passed:

• Create additional barriers for married women who have changed their last names to prove their identity in order to get registered


• End voter registration by mail


• Require proof-of-citizenship documents that an estimated 21+ million American citizens don’t have easy access to

Since the Civil Rights Act passed 60 years ago, our work in Congress has been about making voting more accessible to American citizens and increasing participation in our democratic system. This bill would do just the opposite.
