Friend, the question NPR and national media are asking in the final hours of the Georgia Senate primary is: “Are Republicans going down in Georgia?”
My answer? They are — if we field the right Democratic nominee.
As I told NPR, “Now you see Republicans beginning to wake up and take note and wonder if the strategy they had in the can is going to pull them out this time.”
That strategy — of electing so-called “conservative outsiders” with no government experience like Donald Trump and David Perdue — has led to chaos, corruption, and catastrophe.
The last thing Democrats can afford to do is nominate a candidate with the same inexperience that got us into this mess in the first place.
So friend, with just hours to go before our FINAL pre-primary weekend fundraising deadline, and $11,387 left to raise before midnight, I am asking you personally to make a donation right now to hit our goal.
I’ve dedicated myself to public service as an attorney, activist, mayor and public safety director, and it is my promise to you that not only will I use that experience to beat David Perdue — I’ll step into the job next January ready to serve on Day One.
So please, if you can, make a donation that my team will put directly into advertising in the final hours of this primary. Every single voter we reach between now and the polls closing on Tuesday brings us a step closer to flipping Georgia blue and sending David Perdue packing for good.
Thank you. It is an honor to have you with me in this fight.
Yours truly,
Teresa
