Please join me in supporting the Lone Star Project's Winners Circle Dinner on September 5th. I’m proud to be an honorary host for this important effort and ask that you join me on the host committee.

The Lone Star Project is an essential Democratic research and strategic communication organization that assists Texas Democratic candidates to end one-party Republican control and return responsible Democratic leadership to Texas.  I know first-hand that the Lone Star Project provides vital tools and services to candidates and allied organizations that are simply not otherwise available.  All their help is given at no cost to candidates, so they must raise the funds needed to do their important work.

The Lone Star Project was there for me in my first election to Congress and have been tremendous supporters ever since.  Additionally, the Lone Star Project has played an essential role in Tarrant County, Dallas County and across the state working to assist in key Democratic candidates for Congress, the State Legislature, county commission, and judicial benches.  

There is an enormous amount at stake in the 2020 elections. Your support of the Lone Star Project will go a long way to help build on the progress of 2018, ensure even larger gains in 2020, which will set the stage for the crucial redistricting battles to be fought in 2021.
