President Trump campaigned on a platform to lower costs for struggling Americans. But he just announced the biggest peacetime tax hike in our country’s history. 

If it wasn’t already abundantly clear, Trump and his ultra-conservative cronies aren’t really interested in what regular people like us are paying at the grocery store and gas pump. He’s tanking our retirement savings, the stock market and driving us toward recession — while spending the day on the golf course. 

I'm fighting back. I’ve signed onto legislation that would force a vote to terminate the “national emergency” Trump is using to justify his reckless tariffs. We need to put Republicans on record for supporting taxes that will inflict untold harm on their constituents.
