Today marks 31 years since the 1994 Rwandan genocide—a time of unimaginable loss with over a million lives taken in just three months. While Rwanda has made incredible strides in healing, every Rwandan life still carries the scars of that history.
Since 2007, with the support of generous donors, African Enterprise’s Centre for Champions (‘the Centre’) has empowered over 5,000 vulnerable youth with education, trade skills, and career opportunities, grounded in the hope of the gospel.
Until this year the Centre also received a large proportion of its funding through USAID. But the recent withdrawal of all USAID to Rwanda means that this funding has been cut. I’m asking you to partner with AE to help the Centre continue investing in Rwanda’s future.
