This week, I reintroduced the Ensuring Access to Specialty Care Everywhere (EASE) Act to increase access to specialty care providers for rural communities. This legislation would authorize the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) to use their demonstration authority to create a virtual specialty care provider network that rural and underserved patients can access through telehealth. Telehealth has become a game-changer for medical providers and patients in recent years, and I’m committed to expanding access to high-quality services for Oklahomans.

Last night, and early this morning, we got the ball rolling on President Trump’s 'One, Big, Beautiful Bill' which will contain many of our biggest promises—from making the Trump tax cuts permanent to border security and unleashing U.S. energy to lower costs. The budget resolution we passed is the framework for us to move onto reconciliation. I want to be clear that the Senate and the White House are working hand and hand through this process to deliver for the American people. Keep in mind, this is ONLY STEP ONE.

This week, I met with my friend, University of Oklahoma President, Joe Harroz. With my son, Andrew wrestling for OU and two of my boys, Jim and Jayce wrestling at OSU, we’re definitely a house divided. That said, it was great to hear all the new developments taking place on OU’s campuses. I'm proud to announce that OU’s student enrollment is up, their research expenditures are up, and they're entering into a five-year strategic plan for even more success.

On Tuesday, I visited with the University of Oklahoma's dental students. I love meeting, hearing, and engaging with our youth about their plans for the future, and how I can support them in their endeavors. Did you know the OU College of Dentistry is Oklahoma’s only Doctor of Dental Degree Surgery degree program?

On Wednesday, I joined Sean Hannity on Fox News' Hannity to discuss the collapse of leadership in the radical left. Since Nancy Pelosi stepped down from leadership, they have completely fallen apart. Hakeem Jeffries isn't leading it and Chuck Schumer isn't leading it. Their poll numbers show it too. They're at 21% favorability across the United States with Democrat voters, that's about as low as it gets. They somehow managed to lose blue-collar voters along the way.

On Thursday, I had the privilege of speaking to the Intercessors for America. A little background on them, this group is a grassroots foundation that prays for the government and its leaders. They advocate for speaking truth to culture, call for godly government, and offer hope to citizens. Above all else, the mission is to glorify God. I spoke about how faith has impacted my life and the role it plays in my job everyday. At the end of my speech, it was a very special moment, all the fathers in the room stood up and prayed over me and my family. It was a humbling moment.
