Well, that’s a wrap. The first session of the 158th General Assembly has officially come to a close. This year, we achieved major wins—endorsing 53 bills, with 22 of them now headed to the Governor’s desk to be signed into law. Among these victories, we’re especially proud to have accomplished some of our top priorities: the successful passage of an unamended Religious Freedom Restoration Act and the protection of girls’ sports and spaces.

Yesterday started with some incredible wins. First, within just 12 hours of its passage, Governor Kemp fulfilled his promise and signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), marking a historic moment for religious freedom in Georgia. Second, funding for the Promise Scholarship was restored in the state budget, delivering another big victory for school choice.

More incredible victories this session:

Defining What it Means to be a Woman and a Man in the Georgia Code

Banning Taxpayer-Funded Gender-Transition Procedures for State Inmates

State Income Tax Cuts for Georgia Taxpayers

Combating Foreign Influence in Higher Education and State Institutions

Expanding School Choice and Empowering Local Authorization of Charter Schools

Ensuring Funding for Opportunity Scholarships for Georgia Families

Tort Reform

Cracking Down on Fentanyl Distribution to Protect our Communities

Providing Students Alternative Ways to Graduate and Succeed

Providing Tax Relief and One-Time Rebates to Support Families Across Georgia

We fought hard to protect children with SB 30—our bill to prohibit puberty blockers for gender transition in minors. In fact, we were pursuing two separate paths to victory: pushing SB 30 and working with Senator Watson to add protective language to a second bill as a backup plan. Though time ran out this session, our team left everything on the field—and this fight will be front and center next year.

Many of you know the culture and work ethic of Frontline—we don’t stop working when the session ends. We’re already strategizing for next year. Every priority that didn’t cross the finish line this time is on the whiteboard, and we’re planning how to ensure success in 2026.

For now, though, we celebrate. After the grind of the session, we take a moment to rest and reflect—with gratitude. Thank you to each of you who stood with us. Your calls, donations, prayers, texts, and emails made a real impact. As we wrap up this session, let’s pause and reflect on some of the significant moments and big wins over the past three months:
