On October 25, 2024, a missile attack devastated Mechnikov Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital-one of Ukraine's most vital medical facilities. The destruction of its intensive care units meant that critically ill patients had to be transported long distances, jeopardizing their survival.

But thanks to our generous supporters, Project HOPE helped restore these critical ICUs by replacing shattered windows and doors, rebuilding ceilings and repairing vital infrastructure-ensuring that frontline medical teams could continue saving lives.

This week, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the newly restored ICU, acknowledging the lifesaving. impact of our work. But Ukraine is still fighting for survival. With a collapsed healthcare system and widespread displacement, 9.2 million people urgently need medical care and other aid.
